Making sure your Support Solution is the right one is difficult. There are established processes, well-trodden paths and well documented techniques but they do not ensure success. Your people do.
We have trained over 2000+ Support Engineers, in teams like yours, providing them with the basic principles that have empowered them to go on and succeed in the workplace.
There are broadly two ways to empower your team members with training from us. You can send them on a public, scheduled course (details of upcoming events below) or you can ask us to attend your site and talk to your team in a closed environment. One of the advantages of delivering training ‘in-house’ is putting the Supportability Engineering specialists in-situ, so examples and exercises can be project or task specific, and questions can be practically addressed – providing training delivery at the point of need.
You can book a private course for your team or, to book a training place on one of our scheduled, public courses, look below for more details.
As well as our Defence Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and Course Design (CD) courses (compliant with the Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT) methodology contained in Joint Service Publication (JSP) 822), with our focus on providing you with great applied support design, we also provide training on the cornerstones of support engineering (ILS/IPS), Logistic Support Analysis (LSA) and Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM).
Attendees from any level of experience will confidently contribute to MTA analysis through immersive workshops. Covering the step-by-step process of identifying and documenting the preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, detailing the personnel, tools, materials, facilities, and skill levels required for each maintenance step. Giving you guidance on using the MTA results to optimise maintenance planning, training development, technical documentation, and supportability analysis like RCM and LORA.

These are the courses we are currently working on and excited to bring you soon:
BLOS – Beyond Line of Sight – for those support engineers who want and need to know what lies beyond their own role. A course to empower and improve efficiencies and morale.
Introduction to Supportology – part of the GLACIS framework (Gateway to Logistics and Careers In Support) the service that introduces ex-forces engineers and logisticians to ‘supportology’ (the field of study concerned with sustaining equipment capability) – and to the many career opportunities (with many names) available.
LORA – Level of Repair Analysis covering the non-economic and economic analysis techniques, sensitivity analysis methods, and decision-making process to optimise repair levels for assets, balancing costs, uptime requirements, and operational needs.
